John ......I'm really quite lazy at this .
I follow my stocks religiously through the day ..
but rely on memory after that . I'm also quite fickle ..I have
a few keepers ..but mainly just move on when I feel I've profitted
enough . It's the easiest for me ...day trades require no cash on
my part ....very little effort ( see that..Lazy ) ...and I like it ,
Lots of people prefer longer term ..I feel there's room for all of us.
I tried to qualify ..Thursday's as the high points for the last
couple of weeks ...finished it with a question ..again that memory thing .
I'm only concerned with a few points ..to trade on .
A/ The chart itself ....guarantees nothing ....BUT when chartists talk
charts ..they look for support , resistance , breakouts ....channels ...
trends ..and the consistency ...TLTK's is beautiful ...nice even range ,upward
trend , lack of spikes ....it's just going ..going ...
B/ Fundamentals management sector ..self explanatory ..and the desire to promote shows .
C/ The weekly trend ..it's easier to be on the right side of this stock ,,,Did you catch
the ISSM play yesterday ?? Major appreciation over a short period of time ..grest time for
fast bucks ..A lady I know went to lunch that day ..and missed a big part of the play..TLTK
won't do that to you .It may not hit bang on Thursday's ( that memory thing again) ..but this I
know for sure . It has an ebb and flow to it ..like a big stock ..testing resistance and support .
It follows the market daily trends ..of recent ...bargain hunters buy in the morning ..sell around
noon ....it then picks up value towards the close ..quite predictable ...something unusual for a "penny"
This is a well run stock . You could leave your money in long term ..go away and not worry ..if it continues
to follow form ..it will grow.
Friday's CAN be ..typically a flat finish to the day . This Friday was an exception ..lots of players
stayed ...bargains . ready for a hot Monday???
I watch the size of trades ....pick up the #'s of trades at the end of the day ...it helps give you an idea
of interested parties ...but it's only to satisfy curiousity . I'm more concerned
with volume and prices when I trade ...I have the attention span of a gnat ..and move on ...or just watch...at the drop of a hat.
I don't care if I make a buck ...or 1000 ..or 50000 on a trade ...I am not worried about what get's away ...it seems everytime I
do ...I panic and buy when I shouldn't .
I am just another student ...and am more concerned with the psychology of the market ..especially with "pennies".
Volitility is the key word . I listen to CNBC about 18 hrs a day ..for some plays ...but also for education ...and see a lot of different
players . Some are "due diligence " players ...pull companies apart for fundamentals and buy way before the HERD ...some are Momentum players ..
want to be in ..after the start and before the end ...I get a pretty good lesson in Charts ..Trends ...Fears and concerns ..etc..
I played a lot more with this stock a week ...or two ago ..then now ...( attention span again)..but it's not a stock I would mind holding
for awhile .It's just an approach that works best for myself . Sometimes ..it seems at SI ...people seem to feel different approaches to the market ..
..are right or wrong ...to me they're just individual.

CNBC quote ...I think it was J.P. Morgan ...in the 100% range of a the market ..forget the top 20% and the bottom 20% ...concentrate on the middle 60% ..
you will do just fine ..
I'm now concentrating for my play Monday ...I will PROBABLY get to my broker at the stroke of opening bell....buy 5000 of ISSM ...and 5000 of PTSC ...and
ride to POP til ..about Noon...and sell .If Monday continues like Friday and Thursday ..I will PROBABLY put the profit back in ..or elsewhere ..either way I will give
my broker back his money ...it makes him happy.
I will listen to CNBC before opening ( 5 am here) to give me market mood ..and bond market performance ...so I know when days like last Tuesday MIGHT come ..
If a tech stock has a bad qreport coming out ..I will buy ..again on credit on the early morning oversell ..and sell quickly to the bargain hunters ,,,,nice lazy play ..
CNBC will give some picks for moves up ...those I pick and choose .I network with other people ..we share info and help each other ..all day.
Right now ..there are about a million "true" traders shuddering at this approach ...saying this man is crazy ..and they are right ..but it works for me.

P.S ....TLTK did back off yesterday ...not much (right around NOON)..and finished higher .the same pattern as before ...but much narrower ...
time to buy on dips and hold ..if you are so inclined ..

PTSC was a rocket at opening ..then all over the board ..during the day ...backing off a little at noon ..then after martini's .....up ..up
ISSM did nothing til noon ....then was a rocket til end ..bids and asks were all over the board
Time to ride .........til something new comes along ...
