If his secretary is in the "top 1%" than it doesn't make for such a good class-warfare poster, does it?

In any case making tax laws, or opinions on broad forms of taxation, based on a couple of specific individuals doesn't make a lot of sense. (Esp. when we don't really know the details for those individuals.)

In general CEOs, or even more generally very wealthy people, pay much higher taxes (effective federal tax rates, but also by other measurements) than secretaries.
