Larry, if the bid was @ 27 7/8, the answer from the "conspiracy analysis" part of me (which I try to limit as much as possible) would be "yeah, go short. At the very least they'll pin the 27.5's." Of course, I missed the move, so it's all academic at this point. Figure were getting some buying in TI ahead of their split Monday (more curious timing from Niles and Kurlak - cutting estimates 9 sessions ahead of the split), reaction to AMAT, plus the fact that MU looked DOA during the crash and has recovered (short-covering + closing out Nov. contracts ahead of ops.x)... Maybe this is the start of the "big move to the upside for no reason" I've been waiting for... I mean, despite the great e-mail course in TA I'm getting, I'm still a fumblementalist at heart <g> Good trading, Tom
