I can't agree there. They are not ready for the top of the ticket. You ruin even the best minor leaguer if you bring him to the Bigs too soon. I think either would make a great VP candidate.

My point is that if a potential candidate decides to not run, one has to respect that decision as it is probably based on some very sound reasoning.

And I disagree about making good VPs. If they aren't ready to be the pres, they aren't ready to be a VP. The VP has to be ready to take on all of the responsibilities of the President.
