i do not believe the euro would disappear at all
greece along with the minor states amongst the piigs and maybe some more of eastern europe may either be kicked out or leave of own electoral wish (foolish electorates may indeed choose to leave the euro and be printed to death at faster clip in exchange for full defaulting government pension and entitlements in new paper money)
euro only needs a few states to be viable, and maybe only needs germany, a single state
in the mean time, just in in-tray, about what all central banks have been up to in the aggregate

w/i 10 minutes of the first time erita and her friends played monopoly with us adults she asked, "dada, can i be the banker?"
i had explained to erita n her friends the factual rules and supposed objective of the game and they saw the truth
hasbro.com
"BANKER... Select as Banker a player who will also make a good Auctioneer. A Banker who plays in the game must keep his/her personal funds separate from those of the Bank. When more than five persons play, the Banker may elect to act only as Banker and Auctioneer.
THE BANK... Besides the Bank’s money, the Bank holds the Title Deed cards and houses and hotels prior to purchase and use by the players. The Bank pays salaries and bonuses. It sells and auctions properties and hands out their proper Title Deed cards; it sells houses and hotels to the players and loans money when required on mortgages. The Bank collects all taxes, fines, loans and interest, and the price of all properties which it sells and auctions. The Bank never “goes broke.”If the Bank runs out of money, the Banker may issue as much more as may be needed by writing on any ordinary paper."
ready on 3, 2, ... full play, last man standing ... 1
