(Story I heard the other day, maybe you can check it out, was that Romney's Grandfather was a notorious bigamist in Utah... and that when bigamy was made against the law he renounced the U.S. and fled with his various wives to MEXICO... where they lived for a while until --- unlucky him --- the Mexican Revolution came along and they thought it best to flee *back* to the U.S.)

So, if it hadn't been for the Mexican Revolution coming along Romney either wouldn't have been born or else would have been a Mexican. :-)

(Word I heard was that the other GOP candidates are well aware of these things and that one of them, Sanctorum, thought of a clever way to 'gig' Romney by making a speech where he commented that his, [Sanctorum's], Italian grandparents were 'immigrants' the same as Romney's. <g>)
