I intended the one PM of support (there were not PMs) to go to one member, who I had not communicated with before who was being very unfairly attacked by this other member. And "encouraging people to gang up..." with that one PM of mine...My goodness, that very well known buddy of Bill and jla was banned from 40 threads...40...he did not need my help with a single PM of support to one other person to get "ganged up" on.

That "ganging up" you mention is a very well known method of your group of "friends" such as jla and Bill and if you have decided to stop doing this good for you. I do not know of any instance in my many years on SI where liberals have ever used PMs to organize and do something such as that. Obviously you because of your experience with and concern of this tactic have had considerable PM experience with it with your crowd.

My view of PMs on SI is just that...they are private communications between two members of SI and should be treated that way. If you think private messages should be used to "out" members, I believe that puts you in a very small group of SI members.
