NFLX $86 add another $7 with 15% rise in the 3days off basing pattern

“We were thrilled to deliver more than two billion hours of TV shows and movies across 45 countries in the fourth quarter,” said Netflix CEO Reed Hastings. “Netflix delights members by giving them choice, convenience and control over the entertainment they love for an incredibly low price.”

The data implies that subscribers have made Netflix a big enough habit in their lives that the recent price hike may not drive as many away as feared. As paidcontent notes, the average member is watching Netflix streaming for about 33 hours a month, according to a back-of-the-envelope analysis of the data. That’s more than four times as much time as people spend on YouTube, where the 151 million users spend about 7 hours per month, according to comScore data.
