FWIW, I think a lot of the extremes in market speculations predicting this or that... might best be considered in light of spending some time wandering around this site... absorbing as much of it as possible... InflationData.com The "doom and gloom" built into the market now... seems to contrast a bit oddly with basic numbers in some of the things that otherwise tend to be what drives markets... There WAS a bit of deflation... and now there isn't... No, we can't trust government numbers on inflation... but, the stock in mistrust is overpriced. Don't fight the Fed ? I won't ever agree to that in terms of a political fight over our rights and the Constitution. But, in terms of the reality in market function and making a trade... when the markets are pricing in things that the data just don't show ? Hmmm.
