KLP: My oldest son lives in Hong Kong where he trains pilots for Cathay Pacific Airlines on flight simulators which he helped build and program.

When he was home for Christmas with his Chinese wife, he gifted me with a T-Shirt that he found most amusing. It is a full color production of Obama from the waist up, dressed and looking just like a frontal facial photo of Chairman Mao.

My son said that he shirt is one of the most popular items in Hong Kong shops and is becoming harder and harder to find.

Incidentally, I put it in my bureau drawer to avoid the temptation to wear it. If I appeared on Chicago streets wearing that T shirt I would probably be shot or in some other way brutally maligned.

So I don't wear it.
