Based on the 10 years my doctors were throwing pills at me for IBD I wonder if much of this "epidemic" isn't a result of people eating the wrong foods. There's zero money to be had researching that, sadly, but considering my medical history- I feel really sorry for the folks who are taking the meds their doctors are tossing them, without knowing the real cause of their illness: sciencedaily.com
