No, you have it wrong. Not surprising. You made up your own fantasy interpretation of what I said just like you tried to come up with a new definition for the word "wealth".

I used my involvement in my child's life to show a kind of wealth that is not transferable. It could very well have been some other hobby or activity that enriches one's life. I know a couple of people who hike the Sierras for 3 months out of the year. This certainly inhibits their income, but they would consider themselves quite wealthy. Individuals make tradeoffs between individual activities that bring them personal satisfaction and those that bring them the tools on which to survive (wealth).

And it isn't a case of liking the conclusion reached. It is a case of disagreeing with the idea of redefining the word. What it boils down to is that the conversation about wealth was no more than an academic discussion that one would expect from harvard mental masturbators. For some reason you and your sycophants take such offense when someone disagrees with you that you go into the personal insult attack mode. Not exactly the model one would expect from people who are confident of their conclusions.

I will agree that my kid is a much bigger investment than a house or ten houses or one hundred houses. A house can be replaced. A kid can't. However, by what you just wrote, it is obvious that your parents considered their house a much bigger investment than you. That explains a lot. Please tell me that you kept your DNA to yourself.

At least the aliens are going to bring us more oil, eh?
