Our entire way of life, not just our investments, are at risk in this hostile political environment. Our Constitution has been gutted by crony capitalists. You cannot count on government to protect the rule of law and individual rights anymore. It's not out of the question that a war with Iran might be on the table. The winding down of wars in Iraq and Libya cuts into military contractor profits, a reason the Administration might be planning to open up a new front in Iran. President Eisenhower warned, but the American people failed to listen, when he said that the Military-Industrial Complex was the most serious threat to America. I have lost all respect for both parties. They are also feeling the effects of the recession the government is desperately trying to cover up, by going on the take. The Big Banks are the real rulers of this country. The vast majority of politicians are crooks. Outside of perhaps Ron Paul, there is no one to vote for. Say what you will, but most Americans agree with me. That's why they don't vote. It's not because they don't care; they don't have a choice of someone who does care.
