That sounds like a winning punch. I remember when the town of Ogalalla had a stream running from a well in the Ogalalla Reservoir. They thought it was an underground stream that would never go dry. Oops. The Southern portion of it had many wells that have dried up.

Some say there is only 25 years of water to be extracted from it.
