<<<when we must start working on the debt?>>>>

I honestly believe the only person capable of working on the debt is Ron Paul. I think that republicans are living in lala land to believe Romney will do anything meaningful about debt. In fact since I believe we need some targeted taxes that Romney may be worse than Obama addressing debt. Compared to Clinton for instance, Bush was a megaspender. A megaspender when the economy was doing good in the first part of his tenure - who should have brought debt down, but did just the opposite. To answer your question; I think Obama may be no worse than Romney and may be better at addressing debt should the economy continue to recover.
