<<<It's all about unemployment, stupid!>>>

And where HPilot do you see the jobs coming from? Government jobs are down considerably and so the increase in jobs in the private sector is indeed improving. Better than loosing 700K a month like we were at the end of the Bush reign.

Here's the deal I think most people are missing; home building. In the past home building has ALWAYS brought us out of a recession. Why is this? Because as things turn sour, interest rates fall and as interest rates fall, it becomes easier to own a home and so money gradually flowed into housing. Obviously - this time - thanks to stupidity of Greenspan, housing kept exploding no matter what the economy. Until housing exploded! Now it shouldn't have to be explained to anyone the huge number of jobs in housing. For one thing the jobs couldn't be exported. I got news for you, those jobs aren't coming back anytime soon. There are just a ton of them and it will take a long time to transfer these jobs into some unrelated occupation. NOWWWWW, unless you want some social engineering to bring those jobs back - there is only one solution. TIME!
