There was something of that nature (bailout), then of course, it was limited.

The solution for UK - and US, for that matter, is print or die. With this level
of debt/gdp ratio one cannot avoid a Great Depression. It will be bigger
than 1930-s. Of course, we can succumb to that, or print. There is no
alternative.
