Like every member of the Faithful, then and now, they had no idea how this business runs and there was no concept of protecting your customers from the embarrassment of being dragged through Court to prove your own innocence. Why would anyone do that?

Members of the Faithful beleive that light is the best antiseptic. Today we know Something of what Intel and Dell were hiding from everyone.

Now the rest of the OEMs KNOW some of the lengths Intel will go to thwart competition, even when those lengths harm_ALL_of_their_OEM_customers_but_one.
