Republic of Texas Brands Incorporated ( OTC Markets RTXB) launches Republic of Texas Beverage Company and inks first deal for a Vodka brand.

Dallas, Texas January 10th (OTCMARKETS)

Republic of Texas Brands Incorporated CEO, Laurence Briggs, announced today the creation of a new subsidiary “Republic of Texas Beverage Company” and its’ first deal in the alcoholic spirits market. Republic of Texas Beverage Company ( RTBC) has inked a deal with a Texas distillery to produce and distribute a vodka using the companies’ distinctive logo and brand “Republic of Texas”.

RTXB is licensing the brand to the new company and will receive a royalty per bottle from RTBC. Currently the new company is totally owned By Republic of Texas Brands Inc., Other investors will be brought into Republic of Texas Beverage Company. Financing and investment deals are currently under discussion. Spirits (liquor) is a $20 billion annual market in the USA. Vodka is the number one spirits drink in the USA and represents approximately 27% of this – over $5 billion annually. “We believe our brand, which evokes the independent and courageous emotion associated with Texas, lends itself perfectly to alcoholic beverages. The brand value element of the industry is worth approximately 15% of the economic value of sales, which represents an enormous opportunity for our company” says Briggs RTBC will be responsible for marketing. Subject to financing, the company anticipates deliveries commencing in April 2012.
