The McConnell piece is a good one. He has a reputation for that kind of work. Two problems, however. First, he never addresses the substantive issue of the Republican minority using the confirmation process to block the functioning of agencies; in other words to change law. If they wish to do so, there are procedures. The second problem is that McConnell throws a lot of excess garbage at the argument. That's always a sign of a weak argument. Suffice to say, I'm not persuaded. But I have little doubt there will be more.
