<<Bush was careless with the budget and the repub congress was useless in reigning in spending.
>>

He wasn't careless, what he did was by design.

<<But to be fair, there were four things that Bush inherited from Clinton that weren't so good. One, the recession of 2000-2001. Two, the fact that the stock market had come crashing back to earth in Clinton's last year. Three, the freshly signed (by Clinton) repeal of Glass-Steagall. And four, the seeds of the 9/11 attack.>>

Glass - Steagal for sure. That was outragous.

But the bush tax cuts were done illegally in that they passed by reconciliation and just 51 votes. Reconcilliation can only be used to cut the deficit, while the bush tax cuts added trillions to the deficit. But what Bush has stated that may be even worse is disobeying the law and then saying who is going to stop me? The neo ocns did this with the suprme court deciding the election, Fredo making up laws so Bush could break htem e.g. waterboarding. We put Japanese to death for waterboarding.

Between the stupid wars and buhs tax cuts he put us trillions of dollars into debt.

Bush used 9/11 to build up the military (give money to the military industrial complex) and try and steal Iraqs oil and it backfired on him.
