Excellent points John. If you look at Compaq's performance since announcing earnings, it's been dismal, and they have been saying all the right things. Some expected a pre earnings Dell runup, so far it's going the opposite way in a tech market that has picked up a bit. Many are now talking about a post earnings runup, I hope they are correct, but based on CPQ's performance after earnings............... John Maybe these stocks just need a rest after a good year, in the long run if they continue to deliver they will continue to do well. Short run - it's very hard to call, although I must admit Hank has been pretty accurate..
