True, that wouldn't be sane. But that form of insanity is common and hardly confined to Iran.

They don't get their marching orders from the "creature in the sky." They want to hasten his return by, among other things, destroying Israel. It's that apocalyptic vision that has people worried.

After all, many US politicians claim to get their marching orders from invisible spirits of one sort or another. Professed belief in such deities is, in fact, virtually a perquisite to getting elected. In this respect Iran and the US are very similar.

That sort of equivalency is pure BS. It's clear you don't know squat about the Mahdi prophesies.
