Correction - Many countries have trade policies that claim to protect their workers, but really do no such thing (they may protect specific workers' jobs, at the expense of other jobs, and lower real wealth). The US also has such policies to a lesser extent, unfortunately.

Free trade means that a lot of labor jobs are going to be done wherever labor is cheap.

Which is why Congo and Eritrea are such economic powerhouse grabbing all the business from the rest of the world.

Your neglecting a little thing called productivity.
