as long as all of the intended functions work is a key factor. I wouldn't mind the "upgrade" blackmail either if the program worked fine and without issues. Unfortunately, for a lot of people this is not the case. Every year I look at amazon reviews and every year there are horror stories all around. I've done OK'ish so far, fingers crossed. I might have upgraded without blackmail every 1-2 years if I did not have to deal with the risk of complete data kaput. So the company is losing my money since I now only upgrade every 3 years as forced. :/
