Barry, I think AOL is a tough stock to short because it's a fashion
stock, mathematics can't be used to value or predict it. I eventually
won with my short but I was taken for a bumpy and longer than expected
ride. Based on its past bizarre behavior this stock could easily go
above $100, maybe on news of a stock split. A better strategy may be
to day trade AOL on good or bad news. There seems to be about a 4
hour delay from the time news hits the Internet to the time AOL's
price adjusts. The hard part is to guess if it will be considered
positive or negative news. Trust nothing you've learned about other
stocks. Good luck!
