I have read these - same as you - for the past 18 months.

Every week, there are more annoucements coupled with explanations of the delays on all the prior announcements - week after week.

I have no notion that Java won't be a success - that may come in time - but your implication that it is a slam dunk, here and now winner is way off the mark.

As I said, please list the current applications that are available.

The fact that you can't will tell you something about the current state of Java.
