<<2. Scientists live in a world of ideality and not reality. I am certain you have never had the pleasure of starting up a commercial scale plant of a process that worked fine in a lab. Trust me - the real world is an absolute surprise to these people.>>

That is one of the most fantastic statements I have ever heard. Scientists don't live in the world of reality? That is the primary world they live in. 40% of all manufactured goods use quantum theory. Why do you think we have modern civilization, cars, rocket ships, and modern medicine? It is all about science and the scientific method. We sure didn't have much civilization before science!

Scientist's use exhaustive peer review and with todays internet every single scientific finding is scrutinized to death.

Scientist's lean Democratic and liberal, because Dems and liberals believe in science e.g. stem cell esearch, evolution and global warming; conservatives not so much.

Bush would not even allow stem cell research, and rewrote EPA findings in favor of AGW. How many scientists do you think were OK with that?, or half of all conservatives questioning evolution. How can a scientist belong to a party that questions evolution??

They can't and is why only 6% of scientists cal themselves Republican's.

Good lord Bob, you live in an incomprehensible fantasy world of your own creating.
