IMO Obama was the person with the opportunity to be the fiscal savior of the nation. As it took a Republican to go to China a Democrat would be most able to go to entitlements.

Sadly - Obama simply turned the treasury to his cronies. Obama was not an agent of change other than who and how fast the treasury was looted. Obama's election was a call for looters that was well answered.
