Hi Steve. My morning posts regarding my index trading system may seem brief (I saw a post where you mentioned this), but it is a mechanical system and that is all there is to it....3 support points, 3 resistance points, a pivot point, and a break point. I buy and sell based on where the SPX & SPZ is moving within these numbers. Simple as that.

My goal was to create a simple / non-emotional trading system where all I do is trade on the volatility and that is what I have.

It was mentioned to me via email that foreign problems could trigger the market to switch direction overnight and cause my signal to be wrong (since I'll hold overnight if the signal still confirms the current trend). My answer was that it doesn't matter. I would close the current position and open one in the opposite direction (the direction which my system tells me to go). As long as the market does not stagnate, my system will work. At least, that's what testing has indicated so far <<<g>>>

And you're right, it seems worthwhile for the the 3 Stooges to continue comparing notes.

Take care.
Kevin
