– the US is still in good shape for one reason only – their military might controlling the seas and skies around the world. But as the Soviet Union fell victim to their excess expenses on military hardware so will the US and with this lose the status of its currency as a reserve currency.

The UK once was a superpower and their currency counted as a reserve currency most people on this board do not even remember when that was – but as a reminder it started with Admiral Nelson defeating the Spanish fleet and the French Fleet at the Battle of the Nile.

Before that Spain was the world super power – where is Spain now in this context?
