Hi Still Learning,

"W/o DLT, QNTM would be worse off than SEG and WD right now
exposed at both hi and lo end"

No way can I go along with this statement !!
The butchery is taking place in the sub 2G market which to QNTM's participation is minimal, QNTM's portion of the high end is only 16%, which is bad but not a disaster. On the plus side they have a great range of Ultra ATA drives, and BIG FOOT (12gig for $599 I believe), and its all MR.
They are in far better shape than their competitors in the desk top market, don't get blinded by the doom and gloom. DLT is just the icing on the cake !!!!
What NFR will bring next year, who knows...

Alan

PS QNTM's biggest asset is Michael Brown, don't forget that.
