Sorry for being presumptuous. How would you pay for the ensuing war with Iran? You can't believe that any action by Iran in the Gulf would only be met by us sinking 1/3 of their navy! There are hardened nuclear facilities, perhaps regime change, etc. In for a dime; in for a dollar. I personally don't give a rat's ass if there's no regime change (that's for the Iranians to kill each other over) but only a fool would pass up a pretext on a silver platter to take out their nuclear facilities - and I'm sure that you know that full well. And we both know that it wouldn't be over and done in a day. So let's stop playing coy. We both know that the odds would favor any serious action in the Gulf leading to a war. Once again: How would you pay for it??
