<< "95% of the top atmospheric scientists believe in AGW. "

Where does that number come from?>>

It is actually 99%. I left room for error.

From my son in law who is one of them. He told me.

He has a PHD in Atmospheric Chemistry from the University of California at Irving, and is a tenured research scientist in global warming at a top northwest university. He is in constant communication with the worlds other research scientists.

What is a shame is that I get the feeling the debate about AGW has becoem a political tool and talking point in the right wing i.e. one cannot be a serious Republican politician if they say they believe in it.

Huntsman is the only one who says he believes in AGW, and conservatives hate him. So the rest stay away from the subject. Newt knows AGW is real and my guess is Romney does too, but neither will say so as Republicans will crush them if they do.
