So under your theory, if we just stopped using dollars and paid for everything by direct draft from our bank accounts eliminating the use of dollars, there would be no inflation?, There would be no money?

you know that's not what i'm saying.

i was trying to show you that what you think increases base money, doesn't. and with the number of dollars the same or a little more, we still can have price deflation. therefore, there must be more to the value of a dollar, than just the number of dollars.
