It's got decent sound for dialogue. Where it really shines is playing music through Pandora or watching HD videos on Vimeo.com Speaking of vimeo, check the links I posted on BuSab for some really beautiful HD videography. On my 32" HD TV they are just stunning. Depending on the output on your tv you might need an adapter cable. Did you say you have a Toshiba tv? When I was shopping for one, there was a great deal on a Toshiba, but the reviews universally panned the sound quality.
