The longer that this area holds the better the base. >> A base? What base? I don't see any base when looking at a chart of COMS. I see a beautiful cascade downward, that's what I see. I see a decline so rapid that COMS was due for a bounce. Go ask the people on the Ascend thread what they thought of the base that Ascend was forming a while back. I was one of them.
