Thanks for that. Very sensible ideas throughout his commentary. <Here is Paul being his batshit crazy self in his own words, "Sanctions are an act of war." There are hours and hours of his crazy talk on youtube. Just too sickening to sort through most of it...

Your description of what he said seems absurd. I'm really quite surprised that you think that. It's fascinating.

He is quite right that sanctions are an act of war - if they are anything more than words on paper. Suppose China simply ignores the USA law on sanctions and happily trades with Iran. What's the USA going to do about it? Nothing, that's what. Of, if they do do something, such as blockading a port, that is obviously an act of war and will engender retaliation.

To call it "batshit crazy" is unrealistic.

He is quite right that Pakistan has got noocular weapons, was trading the technology to others, Khan [the noocularist] is a national hero, $billions are given to Pakistan, Pakistan sheltered Osama bin Laden and many others, exports Islamic Jihad to India and Afghanistan, UK and yet is in the good books.

Based on that video, Ron Paul is right.

Same for the second video. Perfectly sensible and correct. It's the old way of doing business in the British Empire - back one faction against the other. Hence Hamas versus Arafat's lot. Then Hamas won the election. Ooopsy. Same for backing Osama against Gorby. Idiocy. That stemmed from Carter and Brzezinski - maybe you found something about Carter's presidency you liked! That's nice.
