So true but then they would have to have an open mind - I think the real battle is for the independents but I think that Newt's message will resonate with some traditionally liberal strongholds such as union workers. In fact the Keystone pipleine provides a great wedge issue as it supported by some major unions while being opposed by the EPAists. One reason that BO doesn't want to opine on it until after the election .another that it wold interfer with campaigning, golfs and secret parties with the mad hatter.
