How about those States that have their own minimum wages that are higher than the federal one? Want to force them to do away with theirs? My State is one of the highest if not the highest and our economy is doing great.

As to your 3 and 4; Yup get rid of the government teat. Time to wean these greedy bastards at the hands of the tax payers. Do that and figure out a way to get the cost of environmental cost into the energy market and 3 will largely balloon on its own. Problem is the oil giants have such control this will never happen. And of course, shrink the size and scope of government and START WITH Homeland Security.
