They may be American companies, but most of the labor is done overseas. The steel and cotton industry are all but dead and most finished products bought in US stores are manufactured in China or Korea. I don't agree with the position that this is good for America and by no stretch of the imagination can it be called self sufficient which is a national quality I consider of high importance.
