Know what you mean. Usually go out with friends, but recently was out alone at night on snowshoes scouting an off-trail route on rough ground. Had a little tumble on a slope, ended up on my back in deep powder, feet upslope, backpack caught on a fallen tree limb beneath me, with snow closing in over my face every time I moved. Took me about five minutes to very carefully wriggle out of that one. :o) Guess it's a warning sign I need start shopping for a phone.
