You're right, my friend. Hmmm. I'm not sure what happened then. LOL.

At 3:05 EST, the RUT was up about 0.5 percent. Literally six minutes later, it was flat. I watch RUT, MID, SPX, NDX, and DJI very closely each day. It's very unusual to see RUT plummet like that in the span of six minutes on a day like today with relatively modest volume, barring an obvious stimuli, of course.

The other indices fell too, but not as sharply. Of course RUT (small caps index) is typically more susceptible to good and bad news in the overall market and usually responds faster, but that six minute stretch was definitely odd. Something must have happened to precipitate the sudden drop.

Anyway, I finished up on the day with a nice gain, so I'll just relax, check out the latest micro-bikini fashion webs, and forget about it. Tomorrow will be here soon enough and we can do it all over again. -vbg-
