So glad to hear you slept well and your symptoms have greatly diminished.

It's funny how antibiotics work. Sometimes you feel better right away, and other times it can take quite awhile for them to kick in. I always finish them no matter how much better I feel because I know they are in there doing what they're intended to do............kill those bad little germs so my body can be restored to its full potential.

And I also agree with you 100% about exercise. I have always been very active and I feel guilty if I don't get out and do something that gets my blood pressure up and my heart beating faster than my resting heart rate at least 4 times a week. That is one of the things I just hate about these annual colds...............I don't get out and exercise. Maybe it's my bodies way of telling me to slow down and give it a break. gg

I too am dreading the day I can't exercise. I'm hoping I can at least take a walk in my neighborhood when I'm too old to ski. I used to be an avid swimmer, but since herniating a disk in my lower back, I don't do that anymore. I'm sure I'll be joining the "Y" so I can take the water aerobics classes when I can't ski and do heavy hiking trails anymore, and I should be able to do that for quite awhile, but like you............that thought is buried way in the back of my mind..........for now.

We were out earlier today and saw what looked like a nice cushy new bed for our dog, so we bought it. She's almost 10 now and I thought she'd like something new and fresh. We brought it into the house and put it on the floor next to her old bed so she could take a look. We encouraged her to get on it.and lay down, but she absolutely refused to do so. She did place one paw on it just to test it out, but she still rejected it. I guess I'm going to have to take it back and see if I can find something more like what she has now? She is not at all impressed with fluffy.

;)
