The biggest problem with the Canadian to Texas pipeline is that the industry's ads it creating energy for Americans didn't have any credibility because the refined products are destined for Latin America. The job figures were also all over the place. This is not a make or break issue for the US. It will make absolutely no difference to the price of gas in the US. I am glad Obama stood up to the pressure to approve it if he does deny it.
