All Mineral claims have assessment fees attached that must be paid each year, that assessment fee is waived if a certain $ amount is spent on the property, so fees are paid for another year with the partial work this year, at least that is my understanding. So... give the money to the gov't or find out what are those stray targets are miles from the main malachite showing. Know what you own
