Racism should only apply to actions , not words. If you act or behave differently towards someone because of their race then that is racist. We all hopefully believe that personal associations, people you associate with , are your own individual decisions and if you choose to not associate with someone because of their race then that is okay, allowed, although some may call that racist. Companies and businesses cannot discriminate because of race either in who they hire or who they serve, that is considered racist and illegal. Some may disagree with that law. The percent of black workers in the federal government workforce is 19% but only 12.9% in the general population. That means black workers are 50% more likely to work for the federal government as non-blacks. I wonder how many black supervisors have only hired black workers? I am sure that racism exists and no one is looking at it. That is real racism , not a few words.
