I close my browsers on 3 computers, Firefox, IE and turn off the PC's at night. When I start them up in the morning, I don't have to login to SI. The browsers will open SI with no problems. Just click on my SI bookmarks.

I sent the link to Ken to clear his cookies, just to see if that would work in case something haywire with his cookies. FF should work for Ken as it does above.

I don't think it's a SI problem, I think its a setting in his browser. SI has to be bookmarked I believe.
