I don't go to walmart personally. Unlike you, I can say I haven't been in a walmart in several years. But I have family members who shop there regularly and they don't fit your stereotypes and I think the stuff they buy there they believe they need. What qualifies you say they're wrong?

Your rant made you sound both ignorant and arrogant imo.

If a world of box stores is your idea of nirvana then happy shopping to you.

What are box stores? You mean stores shaped like boxes or something? Aren't they all?

As for nirvana, if I thought any stores were nirvana, I'd go shopping a lot more.

It IS a free market out there, generally, though. So the stores that are out there must be meeting people's desires. Otherwise some competitor would come in and do the job better.

Isn't this all just a case of you substituting your preference for everyone elses? And sneering at the low class people who don't know what's good for them. That's a pretty elitist attitude.
