Thank you Peter! Someone once told me anything needing replacing on my iPod should be done by Apple. Since I don't know what I'm doing, that would be my choice. They also told me it would cost approx $50. just to replace the battery. The battery in my iPod is over 5 yrs old. I think that is remarkable.
